Scottish Nobleman Costume
You'll cut a dashing figure at the court of Queen Mary or King James dressed in our Noble Scotman's Garb. This set includes our Nobe Scot's Doublet, a pair of black Venetian Breeches, our white cotton Highlander Shirt, and a cotton velveteen Floppy Hat.
Our Noble Scot's Doublet is a recreation of an existing leather original from 1610 at the Royal Scottish Museum in Edinburgh, though we've chosen to recreate it in cotton velvet for comfort and style. The detachable sleeves make this an all-season doublet. Each is styled with a 30-button, single-breasted closure and gold trim. Choose black, hunter green, navy, burgundy, or purple in your choice of chest size 38, 40, 44, 46, or 50.
These black cotton velveteen Venetian Breeches are a reproduction of a pair of extant 16th century Venetian breeches. We've recreated our breeches with a cotton lining so they can be machine washed and tumbled dry. They also have pocket bags, which are a style of period pocket. Choose size medium, large, x-large, or xx-large.
The relaxed look of our cotton Highlander Shirt makes this the ideal shirt for almost any causal occasion. The neckline is accented by a three-button closure. White only. Choose medium, large, x-large, or xx-large. Machine wash, hang to dry. Made in USA.
To finish your outfit, we also include our cotton velveteen Floppy Hat in your choice of medium or large in black, flame red, hunter green, navy, rouge, or purple.
